I was there last June (2013) and had the Rome in a Day tour with Claudio. What a luxury it was, by far the best day of my trip to Europe. He was efficient and gracious, and has a vast historical knowledge of Rome. We had him for 8 glorious hours, and if we had tried to get done all that we easily did in our time with him on our own we would have been crabby and extremely tired by the end of the day. We actually could not have even covered that much ground without him. The car was nice, it was a Mercedes, and every time we were done touring an area he was there to open the doors and whisk us off to the next point of interest, no matter what the traffic, etc. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Hopefully I will be back to Italy in the next couple of years and will certainly look him up for other tours. If you are considering this way to see Rome, don't hesitate. It's worth absolutely every penny (or EURO).
